An Emerging artist showcase
Cut Rope is an eclectic exhibition of emerging artists and recent graduates from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Showcasing the skilled talent and conceptual thoughtfulness, Cut Rope provides an installation space for those who've spent the last year of school online.
Why Cut Rope?
This was one of the first art shows many of the artist and guest attendings had been to since the Covid-19 pandemic started. The title for our show symbolized artists who had been tied down by the institutionalization of art and how by creating a show by artist, with artist, for artist we have freed ourselves. Our opening night of Cut Rope not only shared this amazing and talented artist but gave an overwhelming sense of joy and love for one another.
